MARKETING & OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

Kalli has been a part of the Breakthrough team since May 2022. She has worked in the Marketing and Communications realm for over five years, beginning during her time at Hamline University. She graduated from Hamline in 2018, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies and International Journalism. 

She has since enjoyed her time working at schools, such as Hawaiʻi Community College, and at other nonprofits, such as Evolve Family Services. She has a multitude of experiences leading service programs and mentoring students, as well as formative life experience growing up across Central Asia in a family of Peace Corps volunteers. All of this has led her towards seeking a career that engages in working towards equity and access in education. 

Outside of work, you can find her doing one of her many hobbies, including reading, photography, crocheting, baking bread, or playing with her cat, Sumo.
