Hi, my name is Calvin Chang! My first introduction to Breakthrough was back in the summer of 2021! I was looking for more experience in the educational field! I started as a BLP math teacher for my first year and continued for 3 more years! I got the chance to take on something more in this program and became a Program Advisor over the next 3 summers. I realized that this program helped me push my goals to be in the educational field.

I am currently finishing my last year in school in elementary education and am excited to continue working with BTC as the 7th grade advisor! And I hope to be able to support our students to strive to be leaders and reach for their dreams and goals!

A fun fact about me is that I crave rice with water, and you have to sprinkle a little bit of Hot Cheetos on top.
