This month’s Saturday Session brought some pretty exciting new adventures! Our 9th graders headed to the Bell Museum, while our 10th graders spent the day exploring the Minneapolis Institute of Art. For everyone staying at MPA, we put our communication skills to the test with a drawing game—with a twist! Students had to describe drawings to their teammates using different communication styles.
Every day, we interact with people who communicate in all kinds of ways, so learning how to recognize and understand those different styles can help us communicate more effectively with one another.
We also held our first Town Hall meeting of the year and, of course, enjoyed some delicious pizza for lunch!
