Would you be willing to volunteer and engage with our amazing students as they envision an exciting future career and the educational path they may need to take to get there?
Please join us on Saturday, March 9 from 9:15 – 11:15 am at our Mounds Park Academy site, 2051 Larpenteur Ave E, St. Paul. There will be three career sessions consisting of no more than three presenters from similar fields. Each session will have 30 minutes for personal introductions, sharing of education and career paths, and a question and answer period with students.
5 Personal introduction and opportunity to share your education and career path
10 Presentation about your career, role and responsibilities
10 Questions and Answers with students
Each session will be attended by approximately 15-20 middle school or high school students and will be moderated by a BTC team member.
Breakthrough Twin Cities is closing the opportunity gap by providing under-resourced students with rigorous academic instruction and social-emotional support. Our six-year, tuition free, out-of-school time program makes learning relevant to students’ interests and identities.
Your gift of time and talent will expand the scope of our students as they are introduced to the myriad of career opportunities and life experiences that await them.
If you are interested in volunteering, please complete this short info form or contact Trevor Killeen at 651-748-5504 or via email at tkilleen@BreakthroughTwinCities.org by Wednesday, February 6. We will be back in touch with you with more details by February 15. Our students look forward to hearing from you!
